To celebrate the upcoming release of the Louis Vuitton Monogram Empreinte collection, here are the Monogram Empreinte leather wallpapers in four colors (Flamme, Neige, Orage, Infini) for the iPhone 4. I edited them using the images from the Louis Vuitton Monogram Empreinte Press Kit. They’re absolutely gorgeous!

THE EMINENT ANCESTOR ATTACKED THE GHOST REGION. THE THIRD YEAR HE CONQUERED IT. ORDINARY PEOPLE WERE NOT EMPLOYED.
I have this recurring dream that I realise there’s a whole new floor to my house that I never realised was there. Like, I have much more to do, more space to dominate and grow into. It’s a nice floor too.
[Post's title comes from a reading I got from the IChing. Obvious, isn't it? ha.]
Over the course of his life, Louis Vuitton’s grandson, Gaston-Louis, assembled a unique collection of 3,000 hotel labels that are today preserved in the House’s archive. Affixed to trunks and luggage, these colorful, uniquely designed labels provided insight into their owners’ travels. To the informed ye, the labels’ precise placement revealed an unspoken language that enabled hotel personnel to share guest tipping habits with one another. To the rest of the world, these mementos from far-off places suggested travelers of means and, possibly, adventure.
In addition to the deluxe hardbound edition of Louis Vuitton: 100 Legendary Trunks, which celebrates the House’s famed trunks, Louis Vuitton has released a collection of 30 postcard designs that are the reproduced hotel labels from its private collection. Packaged in an attractive box set featuring the same motifs as the 100 Legendary Trunks slipcover, each postcard evokes the art of travel and the great hotels of the world with hotel labels from L’Hôtel de Crillon in Paris to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Bangkok.
Louis Vuitton Hotel Labels Postcard Box is exclusively available at Louis Vuitton stores and online at louisvuitton.com for approx. US$80.

So I’ve got a new writing gig that I’m actually very excited about. I’ll be contributing to the UK’s only digital multicultural magazine, called Complexd.
I met the force behind Complexd, Kered Clement at an event, and I was incredibly impressed by her. Fashion is full of crazy, big personalities and the first thing I noticed was how chilled out and focused she was.
I introduced myself, we sat down and she told me her vision behind the magazine. The world is increasingly multicultural she says. Modern women live in more than one place, celebrate different cultures, speak different languages, and want their magazines to reflect that.
The potential is limitless, and it’s definitely a project I want to be involved in. Stay tuned.

I’ve always dreamt of going to Paris and visit the Louis Vuitton workshop. Interestingly, Hanna Elliot of Forbes has written an article about her trip to Asnières… its a great read!
Here are some of the photos she posted…
Damier Graphite and Monogram Graffiti trunks! I die!
Python skins… but what’s that bag?! It looks like an Artsy made from a rather interesting material. Is it Monogram embossed python? Looks like it to me!
Wipe your drool! LOL.
