This is FIRE! I absolutely love this music video. I wonder who choreographed it, someone did a great job combining Harlem-esque vogueing and club banger moves. Dawn slayed it. As the girls say, “I live!”

As more and more of you take advantage of our fabulous Upgrades, we’ve been conscious of the increasing need to offer a great way to manage your purchases. What if you could track all of your upgrades, manage them, renew them and *gasp* even cancel them, all in one place?

Well, starting today you’ll see a new page in the Store section of your dashboard: My Upgrades.

On that page you’ll find the list of the upgrades purchased for the site you are managing, followed by a lists of the upgrades you have on your other sites, if any.

Domain registration, mapping, Custom Design, Space upgrade, VideoPress or Premium theme, you will find them all here, along with links allowing you to renew, enable auto renew, update credit card data, or cancel ( and get a refund within the appropriate timeframe ).

As you can see, the status of each upgrade and its expiration date are clearly displayed there, with some handy color-coding:

  • One-time purchases (Premium theme in the screenshot above) or upgrades currently set to auto-renew (Domain) are displayed in green
  • Upgrades which need to be renewed manually are displayed in orange ( 10GB Space, Custom Design )
  • When these upgrades which need to be renewed manually get close to their expiration date, they are displayed in red ( VideoPress )

You’ll also find some handy dandy links to more information about each upgrade, just in case you forget why you bought it! When appropriate, we give you links to the settings page, too.

We’ve got plenty of exciting updates planned, including the ability to visualize, save, and print your own billing reports and purchase receipts – so keep an eye on the page for more!

Summer Hat Trends for 2012

You might still be recovering from Mardi Gras and, depending on where you live, there’s a chance that a layer of snow is still blanketing your front yard. But make no mistake about it: summer fashion is just around the corner.

Every year, fashion trends shrug off the subdued tones of winter by embracing vivid colors as soon as warm weather arrives. Women can be seen at the beach wearing clashing, brightly colored bathing suits. Men, meanwhile, turn to polos and men dress shirts that favor colors such as lime green, yellow, and pink. We certainly can expect more of the same in 2012. But what new trends can we expect in 2012? Specifically, as far as women’s hats are concerned, what will be the hottest thing to sport when strolling outside, lying on the beach, or walking the dog? Let’s take a look at some of the summer hats we can expect to see everywhere this year:

Women’s Fedoras
Thanks to the popularity of television shows such as Mad Men, the fedora is firmly back in style as a men’s fashion accessory. This summer, expect that trend to take a step further by becoming increasingly popular as women’s casual wear. The feminine version of the fedora differs from the male variety in that it often sports lively colors and a rounded bottom rim.

Large Sun Hats
Billowing, oversized sun hats will make a resurgence this coming summer as women’s beachwear takes a turn to the vintage. Coupled with a one-piece bathing suit expected to make a splash in 2012), a large sun hat can make you look like a graceful throwback to earlier beach-going times. It can also admirably protect you from the sun, of course.

The visor, once “sporty” and cool, grew lame and severely outdated over the past decade. That may change this summer, as many believe that the visor will represent one of the hottest hat trends around. Beware, however, that current visor wearers are more likely to seek out a chic look than a sporty one.

These are three of the main hat trends we can expect to see in the summer of 2012. Although warm weather may still seem like a long ways off, there’s no better time than the present to start planning your summer fashion – and, of course, your summer fashion accessories as well.

Louis Vuitton Monogram Transparence Collection

“We decided we wanted to do something very pretty, and very gently, and very loving, and just fill it with pretty colors and beautiful light, luminous textures, things that were translucent and transparent. We wanted to define the body and to create shapes, but have air and lightness and softness,” said Marc Jacobs backstage after his Spring/Summer 2012 fashion show for Louis Vuitton.

The season’s Leather Goods translate this light, airy spirit in soft shapes and sorbet shades. The show opened with variations on the Lockit in sheer nylon voile, offering a glimpse of a smaller Monogram canvas purse inside. For Spring/Summer 2012, three shapes – a dainty Lockit Clutch, the classic Lockit and the stretched Lockit East-West – are embroidered inside and out with the Monogram pattern and trimmed with white leather, creating a pure white-on-white look that is one of the key directions of the season.
