The Best Plan is Don’t Plan!
I keep wondering why all my girl friends are trying to lose weight, color their hair, look for cakes, visit the caterer and hunt for the reception site! Not to mention hunting down the most fashionable dress they can find. My goodness that is about two full time jobs! Some people are just not good at planning and when it comes to wedding planning, well that is the most stressful planning of all. I know a girl who lived in San Diego and her family was in Oklahoma City. They were trying to do all the planning remotely because she is really a control freak and wanted everything done just right. Her mother was no help because she just could not make a decision without triple checking with her daughter! Those poor people!
Well after about six weeks of attempting to do this on their own they got some professional planning help and they just met with her one time and took down all her wants, needs and desires. I guess this wedding planner was really great because she was so happy with her ceremony when all was completed. The reception, which was held outdoors was absolutely the best party I have attended in a long time. Everything was just right! So think about it before you try it all on your own girls!
